Make sure your place helps the night be fun, not be what destroys the mood — it really can make or break your night. Some of this should be common sense, but these simple steps will help make sure your place is ready to have a special guest over. None of these on their own will have a big effect, but together, they will make your place a more comfortable, inviting, easy place for women to spend time… with you.
Keep your linens clean:
Clean sheets. That means having several sets, washing them frequently, and changing them after you’ve had sex on them. Nobody likes a dirty bed. Also have an extra towel available for her to use to take a shower if she would like.
Take your shoes off:
You’ll feel more comfortable, and your place will stay cleaner longer. She’ll also feel more comfortable, relaxed, and at ease with her shoes off. Most women wear shoes that are not very comfortable when they go out, so it’s very, very rare to get resistance on this one. You can even address it directly “Why don’t you take your shoes off, they look great so they can’t be very comfortable.”
Keep your bathroom clean:
Very few things are more of a turnoff than a dirty bathroom (that’s sink, shower and toilet). It says more about you than you realize. A dirty bathroom can make a girl second guess her decision to be in your place. It’s the No. 1 complaint in the hotel industry for a reason. Your medicine cabinet above your sink will also get looked into, so prepare appropriately. Another tip: Have a bottle of mouthwash — it would be a little much to have a supply of disposable toothbrushes — but she’ll appreciate not having to leave your place with morning breath.
Don’t look like a rookie:
Have a nightstand and use it. The less time it takes to get condoms or lube the moment you need them, the better. And don’t forget sex can be messy. Have a hand towel, or two, ready for quick clean up.
Have a drink stock:
This is in addition to whatever it is you like to drink for yourself. Unopened bottles of water in the fridge, sparkling and mineral, are easy to have. Keep a bottle of vodka in the freezer, and a bottle of Cranberry juice in the fridge. If you’ve got those four things, it will cover you for just about any nights when you have spontaneous company.
